The Breakers dominated the track and field this week, with the boys securing a 102-30 victory and the girls clinching a thrilling one-point win against Stevenson. It was a true team effort defined by a staggering 42 Personal Bests and a complete sweep of the distance events by our relentless boys' pack. The day reached a fever pitch during the 4x400 relay, as our entire roster of 65 athletes lined the infield to create a "wall of sound" that powered our anchors home. Senior Night at Breaker Stadium was equal parts track meet and tearjerker. With PRs on the track and custom Mickey Ears on their heads, the Class of 2025 took one final victory lap—this time with speeches, stories, and a whole lot of love. The Pacific Grove Breakers took on Monte Vista Christian in a thrilling meet that saw the boys' team secure a strong 81-61 victory, while the girls battled hard but fell short, 56-79. PRs were set, personal bests were shattered, and one very special debut took place—introducing the "Magic Fingers" technique in the pole vault, courtesy of Matias De La Garza. (read more)
